Brazoria County’s 2nd Annual
Women’s Health Conference is Announced
Together, Brazosport Regional Health System and Brazosport College are hosting Brazoria County’s Second Annual Women’s Health Conference. As primary caregivers, women are often the ones to deliver the messages of health to their families, thus this conference has the potential to educate and provide health resources not only to the participants, but to the entire Brazoria County Area.
The Women’s Health Conference will be held Wednesday, May 18 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Corporate Learning Center at Brazosport College. This interactive women’s conference will feature two keynote speakers, one of which is Diana Jordan, recognized as “one of the funniest people on the planet” by Oprah Winfrey. While she has laughed with Oprah, dated Robin Williams, and filmed Jerry Maguire with Tom Cruise, Diana Jordan’s gift is bringing laughter to her audience and a positive approach when facing a difficult problem or situation. In addition, the conference break-out sessions, lead by local physicians and medical professionals, offer women of all ages information on a variety of important and interesting health topics.
Current scheduled speakers include:
· Dr. Cornelius Dyke, Cardiovascular Surgeon
· Dr. Forbes Barnwell, Neurologist
· Dr. Grace Pavlovsky, Chiropractor: Empowerment – Reclaiming Your Power
