Position Description:
Negotiates and administers managed care and health service agreements on behalf of Brazosport Regional Health System, member physicians, and ancillary health care providers. Under the direction of the Board of Directors, he/she initiates and manages a credentialing program of all professional Members according to current national standards.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Master's degree preferred
Experience:
At least 3 years experience working with managed care products and services with an insurance company, health care provider, or other organizations established for this purpose.
Special Skills:
Excellent communication skills. General knowledge of physician practice management, and hospital business practices, including coding and billing.
