 Brazosport Regional Health System is proud to welcome primary care physician, Dr. April Day as the newest member of their medical team. As a board-certified physician, Dr. Day will provide healthcare services at the new Brazosport Regional Family Medicine Center in Lake Jackson.
Dr. Day graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She went on to complete her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. In 2005, Dr. Day completed her residency at the Corpus Christi Family Practice Residency Program where her focus was weighed heavily on diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and complications from inadequate prevention and management of these conditions.
Since 2005, Dr. Day has been a physician partner at a Family Medicine Center in Garland, Texas where she managed a 2500 patient panel and focused on preventative care for all stages of life, in-depth diabetes care, management of cardiovascular disease, women’s health, and psychosocial issues.
Dr. Day’s free time is devoted to her husband of 16 years and her 3 children. As a family, they enjoy fishing, horseback riding, and road trips to unusual destinations.
