New Chief Financial Officer Joins
Brazosport Regional Health System
 The Board of Directors and the Leadership Team at Brazosport Regional is pleased to announce that Chuck Jeffress, CPA has joined the organization as the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jeffress brings with him over 25 years of healthcare administration, managed care, accounting, and controller experience.
Prior to joining Brazosport Regional, Mr. Jeffress was the CFO for Texsan Heart Hospital in San Antonio where he assisted in strategic planning, developed policies and procedures for respective departments, and assisted in the overall process of financial, legal and operational management.
In previous positions, Mr. Jeffress served as the Senior Vice President of Managed Care at St. Joseph Health System in Bryan, TX. In his role, he provided leadership and management for the development and implementation of the System’s managed care strategies, developed and guided strategic objectives, and was responsible for the negotiation and monitoring of managed care contracts. In addition, he was the CFO for St. Joseph Regional Health Center where he provided technical and managerial support in the financial planning and strategic management process, was responsible for overall financial administration, monitored the assets and commitments of the hospital, developed operating and capital budgets, and participated in debt issuance and refinancing.
Mr. Jeffress completed his undergraduate work at Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and South Texas Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association.
