Respiratory Therapy

- Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
- Bi-level Intermittent Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP)

Diagnostic Sleep Services

EKG
EKG is an abbreviation for electrocardiogram and is a test that measures and records the electrical activity of the heartbeat. The test is used to detect and locate the source of heart problems. The Brazosport Regional EKG unit includes:
- Holter monitoring
- Pace maker checks
- Event monitors
- EEG - brain wave test
EEG
EEG is an abbreviation for electroencephalogram and is a test used to detect abnormalities related to the brain’s spontaneous electrical activity over a short period of time. The most common reason this test is performed is to diagnose and monitor seizure disorders. EEG detects other medical problems including:
- Sleep disorders
- Changes in behavior
- Evaluating brain activity after severe head injury

Pulmonary Therapy Services
Brazosport Regional now offers Pulmonary Therapy Services, a program designed to improve the quality of life with breathing disorders. If you are suffering from asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary fibrosis, or any other chronic pulmonary condition, Pulmonary Therapy Services may be for you. The program offers a 4 week, individualized, one-on-one program, convenient scheduling and a wellness program in Cardiac Rehab. The program requires an order from a medical provider.
