Brazosport Regional Family Medicine Center in Brazoria now welcomes walk-in patients. The Family Medicine Center provides high-quality, primary care medicine to patients ages 5 and older.
 Conveniently located at 1525 North Brooks Street, next to TDECU, the Family Medicine Center is prepared to meet the healthcare needs of the entire family. From preventative health to medical concerns, the healthcare professionals are able to identify and treat common medical problems including: prevention and treatment of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, in-depth diabetes care and prevention, women’s health services, annual blood work, migraines, cold/flu symptoms, ear/throat aches, school/camp/sports physicals and much more.
Working for Brazosport Regional Health System for over 30 years, Deby Crook, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, opened the Family Medicine Center in 2010. Previously, Crook has provided services at the Urgent Care Center, Labor and Delivery, Telemetry, Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Services and served as the Diabetic Educator. She earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Texas Medical Branch.
The Family Medicine Center strives to offer the utmost flexibility by seeing patients through two options: a walk-in or appointment basis. Since illnesses are never planned, welcoming walk-ins gives patients the opportunity to see a healthcare provider when it’s most convenient for them. For routine visits and scheduled health maintenance, we recommend that you call to schedule an appointment. Patients with appointments will be seen at their scheduled time. Walk-ins will be seen on a first-come-first-serve basis. For life-threatening medical care, patients are encouraged to visit the Level III Trauma Center at Brazosport Regional.
The Family Medicine Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. The Center closes from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM for lunch. Please call 979-798-2747 for additional information or click here.
