Brazosport Health Foundation Releases the Date for this Year’s
Fashion Fantasy: Passport to Paris
Bonjour! Trendy fashions and styles are headed down the runway this April, but you don’t have to go to New York or Paris to see them. The lights, music and fast-paced action can be found at the 3rd biennial Fashion Fantasy: Passport to Paris at the Lake Jackson Civic Center on Friday, April 8 at five o’clock in the evening.
Launched in 2006, Brazosport Health Foundation, the fundraising division of Brazosport Regional Health System, presented Fashion Fantasy to the community as a way to raise funds for The Mermaid Project. The Mermaid Project is a community outreach program that offers breast health education to all people in our community and to provide access to breast healthcare for our community’s medically-underserved population. As the only one of its kind in Southern Brazoria County, The Mermaid Project has served over 1,300 individual clients, provided over 6,000 services, and raised over $1 million through Komen grants and fundraisers like Fashion Fantasy.
One in eight women is diagnosed with breast cancer each year. If detected early, the five year survival rate is over 95%. You can help your mom, sister, grandma or even YOU fight against breast cancer by participating in this year’s Fashion Fantasy: Passport to Paris. Men and women in the community are invited to participate in the fundraiser featuring French themed hors d’oeuvres with signature drinks, a trendy fashion show, and the highly anticipated Pink Purse Raffle.
