Brazosport Health Foundation Announces Kick-Off for
Annual Community Campaign
 The Brazosport Health Foundation, the nonprofit organization that builds philanthropic support for Brazosport Regional Health System, officially launched its Annual Giving Campaign, “support your local hospital”, on October 17, 2011. The goal of the campaign is to raise $50,000 for the hospital’s renovation projects of the inpatient areas to provide all private rooms on every floor. During the campaign, local businesses and community members are asked to provide financial support to help Brazosport Regional Health System to better serve the community. The campaign runs through January 17, 2012.
The Foundation’s Annual Campaign Chair, Buddy Baker, CEO/President of First National Bank in Lake Jackson said, “Whether or not you have been hospitalized, you are sure to understand how the healthcare services offered enriches the lives of so many people in our community. A tax-deductable gift to the Foundation will help Brazosport Regional continue to provide quality healthcare for many more generations to come.” Mr. Baker is a long-time supporter of the hospital and currently serves on the Health Foundation’s Board.
Brazosport Regional is the only regional non-profit hospital of its kind, serving thousands of citizens and supporting local industry operations, without tax support from city or county municipalities in the region. Its work is critical for our community members who are experiencing healthcare needs requiring emergency care, hospitalization and acute medical assistance. The Health System relies on the support of the community to fulfill their mission of providing Healthcare with Excellence and Compassion to Southern Brazoria County.

The new website features more expanded content, a broad range of giving opportunities, a listing of upcoming Foundation events, and pictures of numerous local community members from past fundraisers!
Every donation makes a difference, regardless of size. Without the communities support, Brazosport Regional wouldn’t be able to meet the community’s health needs each year. The generosity will make a positive impact by being a partner in providing the highest standard of 21st century medicine available today.
