Brazosport Health Foundation recently donated $200,000 to Brazosport Regional Health System, a non-profit community owned hospital that provides top-notch healthcare to the surrounding communities.
The significant donation was from the Fund for Excellence, an endowment specifically created to allow the health system to make strategic investments in core facilities and services that will benefit patients. “We are truly thankful for the support the community has given us over the years,” remarked Daniel Buche, CEO/President of Brazosport Regional. “This financial gift will help build and expand healthcare services to better serve our community and to raise the bar on local healthcare.”
Brazosport Regional treats over 90,000 outpatients each year, donates $24 million in charity care annually, employs nearly 650 people, and infuses close to $90 million into the local economy. Investing in medical excellence impacts the wealth and wellbeing of your family, friends and neighbors in southern Brazoria County.
The Brazosport Health Foundation’s primary mission is to support the hospital and its groundbreaking work in Southern Brazoria County. All gifts to Brazosport Health Foundation are used to help ensure quality healthcare in the Brazosport community.
