 Fashion Fantasy is a biennial fundraiser benefiting The Mermaid Project. The first event was held in 2006 and set a daytime attendance record at Lake Jackson Civic Center. Guests show their support of The Mermaid Project through their attendance at Fashion Fantasy, where they enjoyed a fashion show and were updated on The Mermaid Project. The 3rd biennial event will be held in April 2011. Stay tuned for additional information about Fashion Fantasy!
 The inaugural Bluebonnet Social Club, held in May 2008, featured music by Cadillac Sky and Asleep at the Wheel. The biennial fundraiser was held again in June 2010 with musical entertainment provided by the renowned Legends of Surf and The Surf City Allstars, playing the Beach Boys Greatest Hits. The event raised over $50,000 for continuing high-quality healthcare in Brazoria County. To read more about the event, click here.
