Giving Opportunities
Brazosport Health Foundation works to maximize philanthropic support for Brazosport Regional Health System. You and your family or company can make a difference in assuring that significant healthcare resources are preserved for generations to come. By making a gift to the Health Foundation, you can also enhance your charitable and financial objectives by choosing among a range of tax-smart ways to make your gift. You can support Brazosport Regional by designating a gift to the area of greatest need or by giving to one of the Foundation’s major funds:
Fund for Excellence
The Fund for Excellence is an endowment specifically created to allow the health system to make strategic investments in core facilities and services that will benefit our patients and our team members. We know you want to make a difference for the young mother with breast cancer that our doctors can treat today and the grandfather whose heart condition will bring him to our emergency room tomorrow. Your support allows us to provide changing healthcare needs for our communities to update and refurbish our facilities, and to add and update technologies, innovative programs and services. Cancer Center
Supporting the Cancer Center at Brazosport Regional will help serve the needs of patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, a disease that half of all men and one-third of all women in the U.S. will develop during their lifetime. With your financial contribution, you become a part of a comprehensive plan to bring together the most sophisticated technology with a team of experts needed to defeat cancer. Grateful Patients and Families
Frequently, patients ask how they can honor a Brazosport Regional caregiver who went “above and beyond.” Perhaps there was a caregiver who deserves a special thank you. Or it could be something as dramatic as a lifesaving procedure or as simple as a comforting smile and kind words of encouragement when it’s needed the most.
The Grateful Patient and Family Program offer a way to recognize a special Brazosport Regional caregiver in a meaningful and supportive way either it’s a physician, nurse, technician, volunteer, dietitian or housekeeper. While keeping the dollar amount confidential, we will send an acknowledgement card to the person or department, expressing your heartfelt appreciation. Click here to show your appreciation!
Giving in Tribute
You may choose to make a gift in honor or in memory of someone, including loved ones, physicians, nurses and friends, and we’ll send an acknowledgement of these tribute gifts to the honoree or family of the memorialized. You can designate your tribute at the time you make your gift. Click here to give in tribute.
Planned Giving
Thoughtful estate planning allows an individual to take care of themselves, their loved ones and the causes that were important to them during their lifetime. With a planned gift, you will be investing in quality and excellence in healthcare and will continue to make a difference beyond their own lifetime.
