Brazosport Health Foundation recently hosted a wine and cheese social at the home of Jennifer Monical to introduce community women to several new female healthcare providers in the Lake Jackson and Brazoria area. The new providers are affiliated with Brazosport Regional Health System and their specialties include family medicine; geriatrics; ear, nose, throat; pediatrics; and gynecological surgery.
As primary caregivers, women are the ones to deliver the message of health to their families. Not only do they take care of their immediate family, but 1 in 10 women are caring for an aging or chronically ill relative, often a parent. Some women are also challenged by their own health problems.
Approximately 80% of mothers select their families’ doctors, take them to the appointments and arrange follow-up care. With these responsibilities, it is important for women to be informed of the physicians and the available medical care within our community.
Brazosport Regional is committed to meeting the health care needs of Southern Brazoria County. As a comprehensive healthcare facility, the Health System is dedicated to meet its mission by providing healthcare with excellence and compassion. The newest healthcare providers associated with the hospital and that are accepting new patients are:
