Judith Pepper
Executive Director

Ms. Pepper leads the foundation in its efforts to cultivate and steward philanthropic support for Brazosport Regional.

Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Ms. Pepper was the Director of Global Operations with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center’s Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health in Amarillo. She has served as Executive Director of Amarillo Community Center, La Plaza Telecommunity in Taos, New Mexico and Tribal Administrator of the Taos Pueblo federal and state programs. She has also served as Vice-President of Programs with Futures for Children and was principle of Judith Pepper Consulting.

Along with many volunteer boards that she served on, Ms. Pepper was awarded the American Online Rural Telecommunications Leadership Innovative Technology Award and was named an active and dedicated leader by New Mexico Business Journal. Most recently, Ms. Pepper completed writing her first book, Extraordinary Advice from An Extraordinary Woman.








Vickie Pichnic

Vickie Pichnic joined the Foundation in 2009 and is now Development Coordinator. Her main responsibilities include event planning for the Foundation and supporting the Executive Office in community outreach, funding strategies and administration. She successfully assisted with the Foundation’s 2010 Bluebonnet Social Club and the 2011 Fashion Fantasy.

Vickie holds an Associate’s Degree in Business from Brazosport Community College. She worked in the local industrial industry for 14 years before she was a full time community volunteer for 15 years with youth programs in her church and children’s school.

Vickie was born in the Brazosport Community Hospital when it was associated with Dow Chemical in Freeport, as was her husband, Dallas. Having lived her life in Lake Jackson with her husband and two children, she understands the need for quality healthcare. Vickie is committed to building relationships and support for Brazosport Regional Health System through the Foundation’s philanthropic mission.








Linda Thomerson
Administrative Assistant

Linda Thomerson has worked for the Foundation since 2005 and is now Administrative Assistant. Her main responsibilities include data management, administrative support and data reporting. She successfully assisted with the Foundation’s 2010 Bluebonnet Social Club and the 2011 Fashion Fantasy.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Canada and was employed with Dow Chemical Canada, Inc. Her first job in Texas was with Brazosport Health Alliance, a division of Brazosport Regional Health System.

Linda moved to Lake Jackson from Canada in 1998 with her family. Over the years she has been involved with the Brazosport Newcomers Club, Lake Jackson Swim Team and her daughters’ schools.
