March 7, 2010 – The Brazosport Health Foundation, the fundraising division of Brazosport Regional Health System, has announced the first set of sponsors for the 2nd Annual Bluebonnet Social Club at this weekend’s kick-off party. Free National Screenings to Fight Heart Attack, Stroke, and Amputation
February 1, 2010 – Brazosport Regional Health System is kicking off the Legs for Life® free national screening program for early detection of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) to prevent heart attack, stroke, and amputation. The screening will be held on February 18 from noon to 2:00 p.m. in the 4th floor multipurpose room at the health system. The PAD screenings will be offered monthly and abdominal aortic aneurysm screenings on a quarterly basis. Click here to read more.
BRHS Host New Support Group for LAP-BAND Patients
January 29, 2010 – Brazosport Regional Health System is hosting a new Lap Band Support Group that will meet the second Monday of every month. The goal of the support group is to provide pre- and post- surgical patients the opportunity to provide emotional support to one another, share experiences, and reinforce positive behaviors to maintain long-term weight loss goals. BHF Announces Brazoria County’s Largest Beach Party
January 18, 2010 – The sounds of summer will fill the air along the banks of the old Brazos River on June 25, 2010 announced Brazosport Health Foundation, the fundraising division of Brazosport Regional Health System. BRHS Extends Tobacco-Free Policy
January 15, 2010 – To coincide with February’s National Cancer Prevention Month, Brazosport Regional Health System announces plans to extend the current tobacco-free hospital policy to include all outside grounds of properties owned by the Health System. Effective February 1, 2010, the extended policy applies to all employees, medical staff, volunteers, patients and visitors. Click here to read more.

November 3, 2009 – The Board of Directors and the Leadership Team at Brazosport Regional is pleased to announce that Chuck Jeffress, CPA has joined the organization as the Chief Financial Officer.
