Welcomes Pain Management Physician
 Brazosport Regional Health System is pleased to welcome pain management physician, Dr. Hui Kang, to their continually growing healthcare team. Board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology, Dr. Kang strives for perfection in the care of his patients and is dedicated to better the lives of his patients through pain management.
Dr. Kang, a magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University, received the Faculty Achievement award for his achievements and leadership skills as a senior. After earning his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Texas A&M, he received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. Dr. Kang’s continued dedication earned him an Outstanding Resident Award during his Anesthesiology Residency at Case Western Reserve University where he then went on to serve as Chief Fellow among his colleagues during his pain management fellowship.
Dr. Kang’s professional affiliations include American Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, International Spine Intervention Society, Texas Medical Association, Texas Pain Society, and Harris County Medical Society.
Dr. Kang and his practice, Texas Pain Associates, focus on helping chronic pain patients regain full function in their everyday lives. With the help of the patients’ participation, Dr. Kang delivers the utmost care using effective pain management treatments. Dr. Kang is currently seeing patients at Brazosport Regional Medical Specialty Center located at the end of Emergency Drive on the Brazosport Regional campus in Lake Jackson.
