Brazosport Regional Volunteers Announce Scholarship Winners

      Lake Jackson, TX – October 30, 2007 – This year, Brazosport Regional Volunteers generously awarded three scholarships to Brazosport Regional employees. Each recipient earned $1,500 in scholarship money, which $750 will be used each semester.

      To qualify for the scholarship, each applicant had to meet certain requirements:
      · Pursing a career in the healthcare industry
      · Show academic ability to do college work
      · Enroll for a minimum of six hours
      · Be employed by BRHS for at least six months and in good standing with the hospital
      · The recipient’s financial need was also considered

      The winner’s of this year’s scholarship award are Tammy Fletcher, ER Tech; Filiberto Salinas, RN (ER); and Sara Torres, Rad Tech. Please join Brazosport Regional Health System and their volunteers in congratulating the recipients of the 2007 Auxiliary Scholarship.
