Announces New Radiologist, Amish Dave, MD


    Lake Jackson, TX – October 5, 2007 – Brazosport Regional Health System welcomes new radiologist, Amish Dave, MD to their compassionate team of physicians.

    For four years, Dr. Dave topped the charts in college and graduated on the Dean’s List from University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor Degree in Biological Science. He furthered his education and received his MD at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Dave completed his internship program at Christus St. Joseph Hospital and then completed residency training in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. During his residency, he was selected to be Chief Resident in radiology for two years and was awarded the RSNA Roentgen Resident Research Award in 2006.

    Dr. Dave has been involved with several scientific publications including articles that were published in Contemporary Diagnostic Radiology, Current Problems in Diagnostic Radiology, and Orthopedics. He holds memberships with Alpha Omega Alpha, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North American, Texas Radiological Society and Texas Medical Association.
