Lake Jackson, TX – October 11, 2007 – The Church of the Nazarene recently donated two boxes overflowing with children toys to Brazosport Regional Health System (BRHS). The generous contribution gives BRHS the opportunity to provide toys to their acute inpatient pediatric unit.
Pastor Ken Christoffersen, Ministries Director and Nazarene Missions International President Janet Castro, and several others generously dropped off boxes full with gifts to Scott Briner, Administrative Director Marketing/Business Development at BRHS. The boxes contained children toys including puzzles, crayons, markers and coloring books. Other donated gifts were toy cars, monster trucks, board games, and numerous children’s books.
“We greatly appreciate their generosity; anything to make our children smile is a blessing,” stated Kenchen Schaefer, Director of the Acute Inpatient Unit at BRHS.
