Position Title: Cath Lab Scrub Technician

Department:Cardiology
Position Description: Works under the direction of the Registered Nurse Team Leader. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. The tech performs delegated duties consistent with the appropriate scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or Bachelor's degree in Science with a specialized education and training in cardiovascular technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Experience:Cath Lab or operating room scrub experience required. Will train in cath lab technique.
    License Required:Current BCLS & ACLS certification required.
