Position Title: ER Technician II, Intermediate EMS/Paramedic

Position Description: The ER Tech II is a skilled and trained member of the Emergency Department team whose functions encompass many aspects of patient care. Serves as a liaison between patient/family members and all hospital departments.

    Qualifications:
    Education:High School Diploma or GED required, Graduate from an Intermediate EMS or Paramedic program
    Experience:Two years previous clerical experience in a healthcare setting required. ER Tech experience preferred.
    Special Skills:IV Skills, training in phlebotomy, EKG, foloey insertion, splinting, dressings
    License Required:Current BCLS certification required
