| Position Description: | Works under the direction of the Director, Nurse Manager, House Supervisor or Charge Nurse to provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care at BRHS. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. The RN will collaborate with other members of the health care team, including physicians, to provide quality health care. He/She will assure that quality nursing care is delivered to the patient (in the most cost effective manner possible) and to help return the patient to a state of optimal wellness, or to a state in which the highest quality of life can be maintained. |
