Position Title: Same Day Surgery/Endo Tech

Department:Same Day Surgery
Position Description: Works under the direction of the Registered Nurse Team Leader. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. The SDS Endo Tech may rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service areas, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The SDS/Endo Tech performs delegated duties consistent with the appropriate scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.

    Qualifications:
    Education:High School Diploma or GED required.
    Experience:Previous experience as PCA or Nurse Aid required. Previous Endoscopy experience preferred.
    Special Skills:Excellent customer service skills required.
    License Required:Current BCLS certification.
